Hurgier Fighters Uganda (HFU) is a registered national NGO working to address hunger and food insecurity in Uganda. Established in 2009, HFU’s vision is a Hunger- and Malnutrition Free Uganda, achieved through sustainable agriculture, food and nutrition security, humanitarian assistance, and community resilience programmes.
Working with the Partners, including the World Food Programme (WFP), United Nations Capital Development Fund, Like-minded Civil Society organisations (CSOs) and the Private Sector, HFU implements livelihood, resilience, and emergency response interventions in refugee settlements, reception and transit centres across Isingiro, Kikubwe, Kyegegwa, Kisoro, and Karungu districts, supporting both refugee and host communities. HFU is a member of CSO network championing the right to food.
To support effective programme delivery, HFU invites eligible suppliers, contractors, and service providers to submit Expressions of Interest for prequalification under Open Domestic Bidding, to establish a pool of vendors for the provision of goods, works, and services for the period 2026-2028. Access to Prequalification Documents and Submission Instructions
Interested firms may obtain prequalification documents free of charge by submitting an Expression of Interest via email to procurement@hfug.org. At submission of completed documents, a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000 shall apply.
Documents will be issued electronically from 22nd January to 10th February 2026 during official working hours (09:00–16:00 hrs.).
Completed submissions must be hand-delivered and deposited in the HFU Tender Box at the Kampala Office or any HFU field office by 13 February 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Late submissions shall not be accepted.
HFU reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions and is not bound to award a contract.
