We are seeking to recruit a competent, results-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the Company.
• Preparing accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Maintaining proper accounting records and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Managing accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations and general ledger accounts.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory tax returns and ensuring timely compliance with URA and other statutory obligations.
• Supporting the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial analysis.
• Monitoring financial controls and ensuring adherence to approved policies and procedures.
• Assisting with internal and external audits and ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
• Monitoring premium collections, commissions, payables and other insurance-related financial transactions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA (U) qualification is required.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
