OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Soroti District Local Government invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the following under listed categories of prequalification's for the Financial Year 2026/2027 (already prequalified firms need not apply):

CATEGORY A: WORKS

a) Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Works (Construction, Completion and Renovation of Buildings)
b) Road works (Low-cost seal, Labour & machined based road rehabilitation and related works)
c) Siting, drilling and test pumping of boreholes and production wells
d) Construction of Rural Growth Centers and other related water works

CATEGORY B: SERVICES

a) Hotel and related services
b) Rent/lihe of Revenue Sources and related services (Reserved)
c) Repairs and Servicing of the District Road Equipment, Motor Vehicles, Motorcycles and other related services
d) Provision of Auctioning Services
e) Security Services

CATEGORY C: SUPPLIES

a) Supply of General Office, School & Clinical Furniture, Equipment, Fittings & Benches
b) Supply of Fuel, Oils, Lubricants & related supplies
c) Supply of Assorted Tree Seedlings and related supplies
d) Supply of Motorcycles, Bicycles, Tyres, Tubes, Batteries and related accessories
e) Supply of Agricultural, Veterinary, Fisheries and Entomological Inputs and Equipment's, Implement & Related supplies
f) Supply and Maintenance of Computers, Laptops & Related Supplies
g) Supply of Office Welfare and Cleaning Materials and other related supplies
h) Supply of Water Sources/Plumbing Materials related construction materials (Boreholes)

i) Supply of Road Construction, Building Materials and related supplies
j) Supply of General, Printed Stationery & Small Office Equipment

Any clarifications can be obtained from Procurement and Disposal Unit Offices during working hours; Prequalification shall be inspected, issued and delivered at/on Procurement and Disposal Unit.

A complete set of Prequalification in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application & upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ugx 120,500/=. The method of payment will be through the registration by the responsible IRAS officer at the District at Finance Department who will issue you with payment reference number to enable you make payment and a receipt generated automatically.

The documents will be sent by hand, no liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Deadline for bid submission is Monday July 27th 2026 at 11:30 am & bids opened at 11:40 am same date.
