Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor budgets, track income and expenses and provide quarterly financial projections
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and donor guidelines
• Prepare for financial audits and collaborate with internal and external auditors
• Process payroll and manage staff reimbursements
• Manage and track procurement of office items and equipment
• Manage cash flow and bank accounts, including reconciliations and maintaining relationships with the bank representatives
• Develop any internal finance documents and manuals required
• Assist in developing internal financial controls where necessary
• Receipting and registration of students
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Quick books accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and statutory obligations
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team
