Background

NADO-U is an independent body established under the National Sports Act, 2023 (as amended), mandated to promote clean sport, protect athletes and uphold the integrity of sport in Uganda.

Job Purpose

To create awareness, educate athletes, coaches and support personnel about dangers of doping, ethical conduct in sports and compliance with Anti doping regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct anti-doping education and awareness programs across various sports disciplines.
  • Support the development of content for e-learning platforms and outreach campaigns.
  • Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of education program effectiveness.
  • Promote anti-doping values, ethics, and the spirit of fair play in sports.
  • Support communication and advocacy initiatives to promote clean sport culture.

Minimum Qualification

Honours Bachelor's Degree in Education (Sports/Physical Education), Sports Science, Public Health or Curriculum Development from a recognised institution. Practical experience in anti-doping programmes or as an athlete is an added advantage.
