JOB DETAILS:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management of OML Uganda Limited, including financial reporting, taxation, budget monitoring, compliance, and overall financial strategy.

1. Duties and Responsibilities

2. Qualifications Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification in CPA or ACCA or CIMA. Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Membership in a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., ICPAU, ACCA, CIMA).
• Must be a Ugandan citizen

3. Experience Essential:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
• Strong experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in using financial systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP.

• Financial Reporting & Management Accounts ● Financial Transactions & Compliance
  ● Audit & Annual Financial Statements
  ● Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management ● Tax Management and Compliance ● Other assigned duties Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and financial risk management. Preferred

• Experience working in a multinational or regional company.
• Familiarity with fleet management financial systems like FleetWave.
• Prior experience in the logistics or leasing industry.

4. Skills / Knowledge

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent understanding of IFRS and GAAP financial principles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in process automation and system optimization.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of Uganda’s financial regulatory environment.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
