Position Summary
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for of financial reporting, Finance operations, compliance and audits across all entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls. This role is instrumental to establish discipline across accounting processes, monthly close, statutory compliance, and ERP usage.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting and Close
- Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close across all entities.
- Prepare complete management accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
2. Audit and Compliance
- Coordinate external and internal audits; ensure clean audit outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with tax authorities and regulators across jurisdictions.
3. Transactional Controls
- Oversee and support AP, AR, procurement accounting, payroll journals and fixed assets.
- Implement strong processes to avoid leakages, errors and control gaps.
4. Systems and ERP Ownership
- Lead accounting ERP transition/migration and support process improvements.
- Ensure accurate configuration and use of the chart of accounts, modules and reporting.
5. Group Support
- Assist in consolidation and intercompany processes.
- Prepare reporting packs to support the CFO and leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting.
- CPA/ACCA required.
- Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing financial reporting and closing cycles independently including consolidation.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities.
- Experience working with ERP
- Above-average Excel proficiency required.
