JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

The Firstline Technician is responsible for the efficient management and maintenance of the Digital Terrestrial Transmission (DTT) site for GO TV Uganda in the upcountry location. The role involves ensuring continuous operation of the site, adherence to health and safety standards, and timely reporting of site activities. The Firstline Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the quality of service delivery and responsiveness to network issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related field
• Proven experience in maintenance and operation of telecommunications or broadcasting sites, preferably in a DTT environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, air conditioning systems and generator maintenance
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues efficiently
