JOB DETAILS:
Job Description: History/Divinity Teacher (Secondary School)
Reports to: Head of Humanities Department / Head Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach History and Divinity/Religious Education in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster critical thinking, moral reasoning, and an understanding of historical and religious contexts.
- Develop students' writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Actively contribute to the spiritual life and moral guidance of the school community.
- Organize and participate in relevant educational activities and clubs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (History & Divinity/RE) or relevant Arts degree with PGDE.
- Registered teacher with a deep understanding of Christian doctrine and ethics.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- A passion for shaping character and worldview.
