JOB DETAILS:

Background

Trinity Primary and Preschool invites applications from qualified, competent, and motivated individuals for the position of IT Technician who is also capable of teaching ICT/Computer Studies to learners at the primary and pre-school levels.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computers, printers, and other ICT equipment.

Provide technical support to staff and ensure the smooth operation of the school’s ICT systems.

Maintain the school’s computer laboratory, networks, internet connectivity, and related equipment.

Support the use of technology in teaching, learning, and school administration.

Teach ICT/Computer Studies and guide learners in developing basic computer skills appropriate to their age and level.

Qualifications and Requirements

A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant teaching qualifications or demonstrable ability to teach ICT/Computer Studies.

Practical experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting, networking, and ICT support.

Good knowledge of computer applications, internet connectivity, and basic network administration.

Ability to work with young learners and staff in a school environment.

Desirable Attributes

Experience working in a school or educational institution.

Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.

Willingness to learn, adapt, and support the school’s holistic education approach.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
