Mbarara City Council is in the process of providing a number of services to the public for the financial year 2026/2027. Tender applications are therefore invited from interested competent individuals, firms, organized registered groups, unions, cooperative societies to provide services indicated in Category A, B, C and D and Prequalification of for works, services and supplies for the financial year 2026-2027, 2027-2028, 2028-2029 and Frame work Contracts for the Financial year 2026-2027 Under Category E. 36. Mbarara City Council invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of above supplies/services/works.
37. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national bidding procedures contained in the Local Governments (Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets) regulations, 2023 and is open to all bidders from Uganda.
38. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement and Disposal Unit, Mbarara City Council and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 6 (a) from 9:00am - 4:00p.m during official working days.
39. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from the address below at 6 (b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as specified below:
    • Categories A is Ugx 100,000/=
    • Category B,C,D & E is Ugx 50,000/= respectively

The method of payment will be by visiting the Finance department Office at Mbarara City Council Headquarters for generation of Payment Reference Number (PRN) to enable you pay for the bidding document. The Bidding Document will be picked by bidders from the address given in 6 (b).

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 6 (c) at or before 09th September 2026 at 10:00a.m. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 6 (d) on 08th September 2026 at 10:30a.m.

Note:

1. The Procedures under Reservation Scheme, only the mentioned categories of Women, Elderly, Youths and Persons with Disabilities or Registered Associations of these Categories shall only apply. Bids submitted by bidders not falling under these categories for reserved procurements will be rejected.
2. Bidders applying as Registered Associations of Women, Youths, Elderly and Persons with Disabilities of Procurements under Reservation Scheme shall not pay Non-Refundable fee.
3. For Collection of Revenue from Nyamiyotobora Matooke Daily Market in South and North Divisions only registered cooperative societies formed by Vendors/Traders within this market should apply.
4. For Collection of Revenue from Lorry Park Fees (Loading and Off Loading) in North and South Divisions only registered cooperative societies formed by Truck owners and drivers within these Park should apply.
5. No revenue source will be awarded below the reserve price.
