To facilitate decision making through provision of relevant information to senior management of UNOC
- Such as timely management accounting reports
- Data on business performance against budget
- Effective cost accounting system
- Effective budgetary controls systems
- Internal control procedures
Essential duties
- Prepare variance reports for each department and make appropriate.
- Recommendations on budgetary performance/department expenses.
- Participate in the preparation and review of the government planning documents such as budget framework paper, ministerial policy statement, national.
- Development plan II among others and providing resulting insights to the CFO for.
- Decision making.
- Participate in the development of quarterly and annual work plans for UNOC and its.
- Subsidiaries.
- Participate in the review of departmental work plans and budgets for the joint venture partners of UNOC and its subsidiaries.
- Coordinate and prepare management accounts monthly.
- Regularly review the general ledgers to ensure that balances held are accurate.
- Carry out cost benefit analyses of UNOC projects as well as other financial evaluations.
- Participate in the creation and evaluation of business strategies to generate shareholder value.

- Participate in the budget rationalisation process as required by ministry finance, planning & economic development.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelors degree (Hons) in commerce, finance, business administration, accounting, economics or other related fields from a recognised university.
- Possession of at least level II of accountancy professional membership (ACCA / CPA).
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a finance/budgeting/accounting profession, from a busy and reputable company.
