Key Responsibilities

Project and Site Coordination

  • Conduct regular visits to active construction sites and monitor general progress.
  • Take and organise site photographs and videos and prepare progress updates.
  • Follow up site activities, outstanding actions, material requirements and project schedules.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Foremen and subcontractors and escalate significant site issues to management.

Procurement and Materials

  • Receive and follow up site material requests.
  • Obtain and compare supplier quotations for management approval.
  • Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of approved materials to sites.
  • Maintain proper records of quotations, purchases, delivery notes and materials received.

Project Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files and site documentation.
  • Maintain progress reports, photo registers, meeting minutes, material records, site instructions, client correspondence and other project records.
  • Keep the company’s master project tracker updated with project status, outstanding actions and key deadlines.

Additional Details

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience in construction, property development, project coordination, procurement or operations is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of construction activities, materials and terminology.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to regularly travel to construction sites.

  • The ideal candidate should be highly organised, proactive, dependable and detail-oriented, with strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working both in an office and on construction sites, interacting professionally with clients, suppliers and site teams, and managing several activities simultaneously.
  • High levels of integrity, accountability and professionalism are essential, particularly when handling procurement, client information and company resources.
