Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Sales Trainer, you will be entrusted with empowering MOGO’s national sales team through training programs that are engaging, practical, and results-driven. Your core duties will include:
  • Designing and delivering high-impact sales training programs (classroom, virtual, and in-field)
  • Conducting needs assessments to identify performance gaps and training opportunities
  • Onboarding and continuously developing new sales hires with foundational and advanced sales techniques
  • Coaching sales agents and team leaders through structured role-plays, field visits, and performance reviews
  • Creating training content, manuals, scripts, and visual materials customized for MOGO’s product portfolio
  • Leading refresher trainings, motivation sessions, and product knowledge briefings
  • Collaborating with sales leadership to monitor KPIs and align training with strategic goals
  • Evaluating training impact and recommending continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting national campaigns with on-ground training and sales enablement
  • Facilitating field learning visits across Uganda when needed

Qualifications:

  • To succeed in this role, you must bring energy, structure, and sales wisdom:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (business, education, or related fields preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar sales training, coaching, or L&D role
  • Deep understanding of the full sales cycle — prospecting, closing, objection handling, customer service
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to inspire and teach
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage group dynamics and individual performance
  • Proficiency in training tools, content development, and learning systems is a plus
