HIRING - Software Development Intern (Graduate Program)
Jentroy builds enterprise software, ERP platforms and integrations for organisations across Africa and beyond. We’re taking on one graduate who wants to write real code for real clients from day one. This is a hands-on role. You will work alongside our technical team on live client projects and contribute code that goes into production.
Who we’re looking for
You’re in your final semester or graduated within the last 24 months, with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. You’re self-motivated and genuinely care about building solutions that make a difference for organisations, people and communities. No work experience is required, though personal or academic projects will help you stand out.
What you’ll do
- Design and code solutions for real clients
- Ship production-grade systems as part of an agile team
- Work across frontend and backend on modern stacks
- Take features through build, test and deployment
- Take part in code reviews, technical discussions and mentorship sessions
What you bring
- A solid grasp of OOP, data structures, algorithms and problem-solving
- Comfort in at least one language such as JavaScript, Python, C# or Java
- The drive to take ownership of your work and keep learning without being pushed
- A passion for building technology that has real impact on the people and communities who use it
Bonus points for
TypeScript, Angular, React, Node.js, AWS or Azure, APIs and databases, distributed systems, an eye for UI/UX, and a curious, collaborative, user-first mindset.
