Accountant

We are looking for skilled professionals to join our dynamic team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and post journal entries
• Post borrower loan repayments accurately to the correct accounts
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments
• Perform monthly bank, cash and loan reconciliations
• Support accounting for loan disbursements and asset financing
• Prepare and file statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, WHT, NSSF)
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Support audit preparation and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA/ACCA (part-qualified or pursuing)
• 3-5 years' accounting experience in microfinance/lending
• Boda boda or asset financing experience is an advantage
• Proficient in accounting/core banking software and Excel
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax and microfinance regulations

Experience Level Intermediate (Mid-Level)
