JOB DETAILS:

 Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Assistant Lecturer – 2 Positions

The ICT Assistant Lecturer is responsible for delivering instruction in Information and Communication Technology, developing students' digital literacy and technical skills.

• Teaching and Learning: Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in ICT, covering topics such as programming, databases, networking, web development, and digital literacy.
• Practical Instruction: Plan, organize, and supervise practical sessions in computer laboratories, ensuring students develop hands-on skills.
• Student Support: Provide academic guidance and support to students, including mentoring and tutoring.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Set, administer, and grade assignments, practical projects, tests, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design, review, and improvement of the ICT curriculum.
• Laboratory Management: Assist in the management of computer laboratories, ensuring equipment is functional and secure.
• Academic Service: Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to the overall development of the department.

Age Limit: The applicant should be aged at most Fifty -five (55) years at the time of application.

Tenure of Appointment: Appointments for Salary Scales PU4 through PU15 are permanent, subject to the successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
