 Performing Arts Assistant Lecturer – 2 Positions

The Performing Arts Assistant Lecturer is responsible for delivering instruction in Performing Arts, including music, dance, and drama.

  • Teaching and Learning: Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Performing Arts, covering topics such as music theory, dance techniques, drama, and performance studies.
  • Practical Instruction: Plan, organize, and supervise practical sessions, including performances, rehearsals, and workshops.
  • Student Support: Provide academic guidance and support to students, including mentoring and tutoring.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Set, administer, and grade assignments, practical reports, tests, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design, review, and improvement of the Performing Arts curriculum.
  • Performance Coordination: Assist in organizing performances, concerts, and cultural events for students and the community.
  • Academic Service: Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to the overall development of the department.

j) Incorrectly addressed applications and those without the above attachments shall be rejected.

Age Limit: The applicant should be aged at most Fifty -five (55) years at the time of application.

Tenure of Appointment: Appointments for Salary Scales PU4 through PU15 are permanent, subject to the successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
