Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, fresh juices, and specialty beverages while providing exceptional customer service. The role involves maintaining beverage quality, ensuring cleanliness of the work area, and creating a welcoming experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, fresh juices, and other beverages to established quality standards.
• Ensure consistency in beverage taste, presentation, and portioning.
• Recommend beverages and menu items to guests.

Customer Service

• Welcome guests warmly and provide prompt, professional service.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns courteously.
• Maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere within the café or restaurant.

Operations & Hygiene

• Operate and maintain coffee machines and beverage equipment.
• Monitor beverage supplies and report stock shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness of the beverage preparation area.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Barista Training.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Barista in a hotel, café, or restaurant.
