Makerere University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for various academic, administrative, and support staff positions.

Responsibilities or duties

• Teach, examine and grade students;
• Supervise research for students;
• Mentor junior staff;
• Conduct research and community outreach activities;
• Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• PhD in Drama or Theatre Studies or Theatre Arts or Theatre;
• Master's degree of Fine Arts in Drama or theatre studies with specialty in technical theatre or directing or acting or playwriting;
• At least an upper second Bachelor's degree in drama or theatre or theatre arts

• Tenure of Appointment: Permanent
