Description
Grainpulse Limited is hiring a Finance Manager responsible for overseeing daily transactions (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations) and carrying out the effective implementation of the HUB strategy, including HUB reporting and the reconciliation of financial data provided by the HUBs.Agrochemicals
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Manage and supervise the accounting tasks such as invoicing, payments, payroll, tax, supplier and customer management
- Manage month-end and year-end closing
- Manage regular audits and K+S reporting
- Establish a reporting system for the HUBs in collaboration with the Head of Finance
- Monitor the performance of the HUBs
- Organise financial data into usable information and maintain updated records
- Adherence to accounting policies (IFRS) and procedures, aligned with the company’s targets
- Assist with regulatory reporting as applicable
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should preferably have a University Degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields (preferably a Master’s) and must be either a CPA and/or a Chartered Accountant, or the equivalent. He or she must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Finance (preferably Audit, Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax) and experience preferably in FI, AP, and with Month and Year-End Closings.
The ideal candidate should have proven knowledge of financial diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis. In addition, he or she must have the ability to make presentations and communicate analysis results and recommendations. Furthermore, he or she must be proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and ERP.
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership qualities, business acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. He or she must possess excellent interpersonal skills, and must be a skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation skills, with high attention to detail.
