JOB DETAILS:
FRC is an NGO promoting adult education and community development among refugees since 1997 as an operational partner to OPM and UNHCR. FRC seeks to employ Ugandans for:
Fundraising Assistant-Kampala

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare project proposals and budgets on adult education, livelihood and capacity building.
• Keep track of and update donor data base, identify new donors and partnerships.
• Ensure timely and accurate project proposal and budget documentation.
• Keep up-to-date with development issues and trends with regard to Uganda and refugee work.
• Provide technical assistance to the FRC staff and partners in project proposal writing.

Academic Qualifications and competencies:

• Bachelor degree in Project Planning / Development Studies I Business Administration or similar.
• At least 3 years professional work experience at NGO setting.
• Strong hands-on experience on proposal writing, fundraising, advocacy.
