ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
An Honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying and Geomatics from a recognized University.
WORK EXPERIENCE
A minimum of two (2) years
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizing GIS software to analyze spatial data related to potential industrial park locations;
- Conducting spatial analysis to identify trends and patterns that can inform investment decisions;
- Preparing feasibility studies that incorporate GIS data to support decision-making processes;
- Monitoring project progress using GIS tools to track milestones and assess performance metrics;
- Presenting GIS findings and investment opportunities clearly and effectively to diverse audiences;
- Analyzing existing regulations affecting industrial park development and recommend improvements based on GIS insights;
- Providing training sessions for UIA staff and other stakeholders on the use of GIS technology in investment planning.

- Conducts spatial and trend analysis to inform industrial park planning, development strategies, and investment promotion initiatives.
- Prepares feasibility studies and reports integrating GIS insights to guide decision-making and project prioritization.
- Monitors and tracks industrial park project progress using GIS tools, assessing milestones and performance metrics.
- Presents GIS findings, investment opportunities, and spatial analyses clearly to internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Analyses regulations affecting industrial park development and provides recommendations for improvement based on GIS data.
- Provides training and capacity-building for UIA staff and stakeholders on GIS applications in investment planning and industrial development.
