ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

An Honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying and Geomatics from a recognized University.

WORK EXPERIENCE

A minimum of two (2) years

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilizing GIS software to analyze spatial data related to potential industrial park locations;
• Conducting spatial analysis to identify trends and patterns that can inform investment decisions;
• Preparing feasibility studies that incorporate GIS data to support decision-making processes;
• Monitoring project progress using GIS tools to track milestones and assess performance metrics;
• Presenting GIS findings and investment opportunities clearly and effectively to diverse audiences;
• Analyzing existing regulations affecting industrial park development and recommend improvements based on GIS insights;
• Providing training sessions for UIA staff and other stakeholders on the use of GIS technology in investment planning.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret spatial data for potential industrial park locations, supporting evidence-based investment decisions.
• Conducts spatial and trend analysis to inform industrial park planning, development strategies, and investment promotion initiatives.
• Prepares feasibility studies and reports integrating GIS insights to guide decision-making and project prioritization.
• Monitors and tracks industrial park project progress using GIS tools, assessing milestones and performance metrics.
• Presents GIS findings, investment opportunities, and spatial analyses clearly to internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
• Analyses regulations affecting industrial park development and provides recommendations for improvement based on GIS data.
• Provides training and capacity-building for UIA staff and stakeholders on GIS applications in investment planning and industrial development.
