Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort throughout guest rooms and public areas. The role contributes to creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Operations
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities as required.
- Ensure rooms are properly arranged and ready for occupancy.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Report maintenance issues and damaged equipment promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning materials.
Guest Service
- Respond promptly to guest requests.
- Maintain professionalism and respect guest privacy.
- Contribute to a positive guest experience through high cleaning standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate in Housekeeping or Hospitality is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment.
