Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic upkeep of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role ensures that the hotel’s standards of cleanliness are consistently met and that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision: Supervise the work of housekeeping attendants, room stewards, and laundry staff, ensuring efficient allocation of duties.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public restrooms to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards.

Inventory Management: Monitor and control the usage of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities to minimize wastage.

Training: Train new staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest interaction standards.

Lost and Found: Manage the lost and found process, ensuring items are properly logged and stored.

Guest Requests: Handle special guest requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a reputable hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
