S Kant East Africa Limited is a pharmaceutical manufacturing subsidiary of S Kant Healthcare Limited, based in the Namanve Industrial Park.
HVAC TECHNICIAN – 3RD SHIFT
Job Purpose
To operate, inspect, troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems during the assigned shift to ensure continuous and reliable environmental control within the pharmaceutical facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor HVAC equipment during the assigned shift.
- Inspect AHUs, chillers, pumps, compressors and ventilation systems.
- Monitor temperature, humidity and pressure conditions.
- Respond promptly to HVAC alarms and breakdowns.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance.
- Repair or replace faulty HVAC components.
- Check filters, belts, motors, valves, dampers and related components.
- Maintain HVAC logbooks and shift reports.
- Escalate major equipment faults to the HVAC Engineer.
- Support BMS monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Maintain tools and workshop areas.
- Follow GMP, safety and environmental procedures.
- Participate in emergency maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Industrial Technical qualification/ITI or equivalent technical training.
- 2–3 years of HVAC experience.
- Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical environments is an advantage.
- Willingness to work the 3rd shift.
