JOB DETAILS:

Background

Makerere University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for various academic, administrative, and support staff positions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Teach, examine and grade students;
• Supervise research for students;
• Mentor junior staff;
• Conduct research and community outreach activities;
• Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Water Management or Wetlands;
• MSc in Wetlands Management or Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering or Environmental and Natural Resources Management;
• An honors BSc in Environmental Sciences or Forestry.

APPLICANTS FOR ALL OTHER POSITIONS SHOULD NOT EXCEED 55 YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
