Soroti University is a Public University in Uganda located in Soroti City, Eastern Uganda Seven (7) kilometres along Soroti-Katakwi- Moroto Road. The University Secretary hereby invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant posts listed below that exist in the University.

Purpose of the Job

To teach, supervise, promote research, disseminate research findings, and participate in Community Service.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• 1) PhD in Pharmacology
• OR
• 2) Master of Science in Pharmacology.
• 3) MBChB or MBBS or Bachelor of Pharmacy as the first degree.
• 6) Must be registered a Professional Body.

Experience needed

• 4) At least two (2) years’ teaching at the level of Assistant Lecturer in an Institution of Higher Learning or two (2) years of research in a reputable organization or 2 years of Pharmacology work.
• 5) Evidence of research in the relevant field with at least two (2) newly recognized publications within the last five years in peer-reviewed journals or book chapters with ISBN Numbers.
