On behalf of our client, microfinance institution we seek to recruit a highly competent, motivated and professional individual to fill the position of Marketing Officer.

Job Summary

The Marketing Officer will support business growth through client mobilization, product promotion, market research, and strengthening relationships with customers and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans to grow loan and savings portfolios.
• Conduct field mobilization, community engagements, and grassroots marketing activities.
• Identify potential clients and introduce them to the institution’s financial products.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to improve retention and cross-selling.
• Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis to inform product improvement.
• Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports.
• Support branding and visibility activities in Mukono and surrounding areas.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of marketing and selling loan products
• Background in microfinance would be an added advert
• Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet field-based targets.
• Conversant with most loan products.
