Position Title: QAQC Assistant
Reports To: Senior QAQC Engineer
Department: Drilling & Wells
Location: Site
Number of Vacancies: Two Gaps
Activities
The main responsibility of the job holder’s:
- Performs QAQC visit/inspection/audit in all the drilling service contract base as per the monitoring/witness points pre-defined in the Service Quality Plan associated with each contract.
- Follows up the equipment preparation schedule forecast (liaising with the D&W material superintendent and the drilling superintendent) and plan accordingly the daily inspection/visit activity under the coordination of the QAQC Coordinator.
- Performs spot QAQC audit as its discretion in the various workplace, carry out random inspection, equipment certification verification and as well as spot QAQC audit related to the APIQ2 compliance.
- Issue QAQC visit/inspection/audit reports for all inspection performed and send them to the relevant service company QA/QC contact point.
- Submits Non-Conformance Report (NCR) or opportunity for improvement (OFI) to the relevant service company QA/QC contact point and make sure there is a discussion about the anomalies/findings with the service provider prior to ask them to provide the corresponding action/corrective plan/actions and follow up to make sure that the actions are effectively closed by the service provider.
- Manages a QAQC improvement process database with all the NCR/OFI recorded and linked to the relevant report, follow up of the closure of all the actions.
- Assists the QAQC Coordinator to monitor and communicate a set of KPI (% NCR/OFI closure, service contract API Compliance, SQP, number of QAQC visit…)
- Seconds the Senior Stock Control engineer in the execution of the APIQ2 Audits.
Qualifications & experiences required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Professional experience: At least 2 years working experience, associated with Oil and Gas Industry.
- ISO9001/APIQ1 or APIQ2 fundamentals
- Punctuality and assiduity
- Good interpersonal relationship skills, multi discipline and multi-cultural
- Flexibility, communication skills, coordination, and leadership ability,
- Organizational abilities and sense of priorities
- Some QAQC experience and minimum of one year associated with drilling activity is preferred (OCTG, Equipment procurement, Service contract QAC)
