MET Surveyors and Consultants on behalf of our client an investment arm of an institution invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified landowners, authorized agents, and real estate vendors for the provision of suitable land parcels to support a land acquisition project. This EOI aims to identify and profile land parcels that meet defined technical, legal, and geographic criteria for potential acquisition.
The land must be located within a radius of not more than 40 kilometers from Kampala City Centre, measured from City Square. Target areas include: Wakiso Mukono Selected parts of Mityana, Nakaseke, Luweero and Mpigi Districts or Other peri-urban extensions falling close or within the GKMA boundary.
Parcel Size: The Preferred parcel size is between 8–10 acres with a flexibility of +15% depending on land configuration, usability, and contiguity.
Land Tenure: Acceptable tenure is Malle Land Tenure with clear and verifiable ownership and a readily available title documentation.
Zoning and Land Use: The land should fall within acceptable zoning categories, including: Residential and Mixed-use. Preference will be given to parcels that align with planned development frameworks and local physical development plans for the area.
Legal Status: The land must be free from disputes, have no encumbrances (e.g., caveats, liens, unresolved claims), be properly registered in the land registry and no ongoing litigation.
Physical and Infrastructure Requirements: The land should ideally have reliable road access (all-weather access preferred), proximity to electricity supply, access to water supply systems, availability of drainage infrastructure or feasible drainage conditions, accessibility to social amenities (schools, health facilities, markets, etc.).
Interested vendors should submit an EOI containing the following:
Owner/Vendor Information: Name(s) of landowner(s), Contact details (phone, email, physical address), Proof of ownership or authorization (if agent), Transaction history, Motivation for selling.
Land Details: Location (District, Sub-county, Parish, Village), Size (in acres/hectares), Tenure type, Copy of land title (or equivalent documentation), Site map or sketch, GPS coordinates.
Land Status: Confirmation of no disputes or encumbrances, Current land use and occupancy status.
Infrastructure Access: Description of access roads, Availability of utilities (water, electricity, sewer, etc.).
Indicative Price: Expected price per acre or total asking price.
Submissions will be evaluated based on: Compliance with size and location requirements, Legal clarity and tenure security, Accessibility and infrastructure availability, Suitability for intended development, Value for money.
