On behalf of our client in the Oil & Gas Sector, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Commercial Business Analyst to work in Uganda
Reports to: Supply, Sales and Commercial Manager
Department: Administration

Job Purpose
To support commercial operations through effective tracking, analysis, coordination, and administration of UNOC-related invoices, customer accounts, transport and storage agreements, pricing structures, and operational performance. The role ensures timely payments, accurate records management, contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and efficient administrative support across the commercial function.
Key Responsibilities
- Track all UNOC invoices from submission to payment completion, including monitoring outstanding payments and following up on pending approvals and settlements.
- Reconcile invoice records against customer statements and internal financial records, and prepare invoice status reports and payment tracking schedules for management review.
- Track fuel/product entries and customer balances, maintaining accurate records of allocations, stock movements, and balance utilization.
- Coordinate with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation, and prepare periodic balance and utilization reports.
- Prepare and analyze petroleum product price build-ups, monitoring pricing components such as taxes, transport, storage, margins, and operational costs.
- Support management with commercial evaluations, profitability analysis, pricing recommendations, and maintain updated pricing models and cost-tracking tools.
- Track and manage Transport and Storage Agreements (TSAs) and related contracts, including monitoring validity periods, renewals, amendments, compliance requirements, and maintaining an updated contract database.
- Follow up on commercial and administrative documentation, approvals, and maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, correspondence, and customer files.
- Prepare weekly and monthly commercial performance reports, coordinate meetings, follow-up actions, and internal communications related to commercial operations.
- Support audit and compliance processes by providing accurate documentation, reports, and records.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience:
- Fresh Graduate with a minimum of a Second Class upper or CGPA of 3.6.
Key Competencies and Skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and customer service orientation.
