Role Overview

We are looking for a Construction Operations Manager to oversee project workflows, ensuring all jobs move efficiently from start to completion. This role will manage projects, subcontractors, client communication, and financial tracking through a centralized system.

Work Schedule:

Full-time (35 hours per week) 8am to 4pm EST with 1 hr unpaid break

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all projects (status, timelines, issues)
  • Oversee permits, inspections, and project closeouts (CO)
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor performance

  • Track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
  • Monitor material orders, deliveries, and delays
  • Maintain systems and workflows (Notion or similar)
  • Prepare weekly reports (projects, finances, risks, next steps)

Requirements

  • Experience in operations, project management, or construction coordination
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience with CRM/project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills

Nice to Have

  • Construction or real estate experience
  • Experience with Notion and QuickBooks

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
