Job Purpose:
The Delivery Manager, Digital Services, will lead the Serve Digital division, ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions, including software development and technology reseller ship projects.
The role involves managing project execution, overseeing post-delivery services, and driving the growth of Serve Digital in alignment with company objectives. The Delivery Manager will work closely with independent contractors and Consultant Project Managers while building a strong internal team to support ongoing and future initiatives.
1. Leadership:
a) Lead Serve Digital’s operations, ensuring project delivery aligns with business objectives and client expectations.
b) Shape and implement the division’s growth strategy, overseeing the management and execution of current and future projects.
c) Build, mentor, and manage the internal team while taking responsibility for recruiting future talent.
2. Project and Delivery Management:
a) Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital services projects, ensuring high-quality standards.
b) Coordinate with Consultant Project Managers to monitor progress, maintain timelines, and ensure budget compliance.
c) Manage post-delivery support and service enhancements for clients.
3. Technical Oversight:
a) Apply technical skills in DevOps, Big Data, programming (Python, JavaScript, and SQL) to provide guidance and assess software development projects.
b) Stay up to date with emerging technologies to ensure Serve Digital remains competitive.
c) Lead on all issues relating to hardware related sales.
4. Client and Partner Management:
a) Engage with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
b) Develop relationships with technology partners and support efforts to secure technology service partners overseas when needed.
5. Collaboration
a) Prepare and manage budgets for Serve Digital projects, monitor financial performance, and achieve financial targets.
b) Provide regular progress reports and updates to the executive management team via the COO, ensuring the alignment of Serve Digital with the overall business strategy.
6. Support on Ad hoc Assignments from Management
a) Support the rollout of innovations or products as guided by management.
b) Support on all activities within your purview of competence as requested by management or client teams.

b) Possess 5-7 years of experience in software development, project management, or digital services roles.
c) Commercial Awareness – identifying client leads and growing existing clients to cover the bottom line.
d) Software: Proficiency in MS 365, DevOps, and Programming proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL is essential.
e) Program Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
f) Mentoring: Ability to lead and guide independent contractors, business analysts, developers, project managers, by providing direction, support, and motivation.
g) Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
h) Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
i) Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve project issues and risks in a timely and effective manner.
j) Interpersonal: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
k) Self-Directed individual to instil a results-oriented culture to deliver on requirements.
