International Needs Network of Uganda (INUG) is a non-profit Christian organization and part of a global partnership active in 38 countries. INUG focuses on:
- Community development, evangelism, and discipleship
- Inclusive education and spiritual nurture
- Care and protection for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC)
- Livelihood improvement, healthcare, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)
Operational Districts: Buikwe, Mukono, and Kayunga
Job Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership, management, and accountability for INUG’s day-to-day operations and mandate implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee organizational vision, mission, and strategic direction.
- Staff Management: Lead and mentor the Senior Management Team.
- Financial Management: Ensure compliance and transparency in financial systems.
- Resource Mobilization: Secure funding through partnerships and donor engagement.
- Partnerships & Stakeholder Management: Strengthen collaborations with local/international stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (required).
- Master’s in Management or related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- 10+ years in INUG’s core areas, with 5+ years in senior management.
- Proven leadership in church-based or nonprofit institutions.
- Track record in resource mobilization, donor-funded projects, and accountability.
- Expertise in fundraising, program development, and board relations.
- Skills: Ethical leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
