Job Overview
We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Operations Lead at Fireside Group Ltd, Uganda.

Competencies and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations or project management, preferably in a technical or telecom environment.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards (EHS), Procurement in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strategic thinker with solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations, project goals, and team performance.
• Identify any skills, resources, tools, equipment and materials gap and address or close them in advance.
• Maintain all aspects of operations including fleet, resources, tools, equipment and invoicing.
• Approve budgets for all projects and make sure that they are implemented successfully within the required timeline and budget threshold.
• Organize work with internal and external team members.
• Set up and maintain clear and effective internal and external communication with teams.
• Create a plan for deployment milestones in all projects ensuring they are delivered with forecasted cost, time and quality.
• Ensure all deliverables are fulfilled according to the project scope, deployment and support processes.
• Ensure delivery of client KPI’s including day to day SLAs, customer experience, quality measures, occupational health and safety measures.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships for new and existing clients.
• Work with head of departments for continuous improvement and optimal team performance.
• Assist the human resource team in hiring and training staff members in line with the company culture.
• Handle escalations on scope, processes, SLA and complaints and act as the acting point of escalation between the client and Fireside.
• Making sure that we are well aware of our competition on the ground and making sure that we are ahead.
• Making sure that we adhere to industry requirements as well as EHS.
• Any other duty as may be assigned.
