Description

Interswitch is hiring a Product Operations Executive to bridge the gap between product development and operational excellence. The role holder shall work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of product and innovation initiatives, optimizing product management standards, product related operational processes to enhance efficiency, and driving collaboration to support the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond. The Product Operations Executive will be instrumental in implementing best practices, managing projects, analysing data, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role holder shall further be pivotal to facilitating the utilization of Interswitch Products through internal knowledge transfer and supporting business initiatives to action customer requirements and feedback.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical and operational support for product management and innovation activities
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to support the development and launch of new products and features.
  • Ensure all operational aspects of product launches are well-coordinated, including testing, documentation, and post-launch analysis.
  • Process Optimization through the analysis and identification of areas for improvement in existing product operational processes.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows, tools, and systems to streamline product operations and enhance productivity.
  • Act as a liaison between Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure action items are tracked and completed.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret product performance data to provide actionable insights.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics and inform decision-making.
  • Lead and manage various product-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Work alongside project managers to create detailed project plans, set timelines, and monitor progress against goals.
  • Identify potential risks and issues in product operations and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure product management and innovation compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Work closely with Customer Support and Sales teams to gather and analyse customer feedback.
  • Incorporate customer insights into product development processes to enhance user experience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for product operations processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams to ensure understanding of the company’s product portfolio and adherence to operational processes and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • University Degree in Information Technology, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Product Design & Development, Project Management, Marketing and Service oriented certifications are desirable.
  • Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product operations, project management, or a related role, preferably within the FinTech industry
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and operational processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
  • Experience with product management and collaboration software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • A working knowledge of the financial service industry regulations.
  • A working knowledge of design thinking practices.
  • Experience running product research and products needs elicitation, solution design/documentation, product lifecycle planning, Product go-to-market strategy development, and product performance tracking.
  • Experience working in cross-functional product management teams delivering on product-related initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
