Introduction;
The ‘Technical Sales Assistant- Plumbing’ will provide plumbing related assistance to customers including site visits to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions, contributing to sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Duties and responsibilities
Sales;
- Identify and establish new business by organizing and making sales visits
- Give technical advice and presentations to make clients understand and trust company’s services
- Liaise and cooperate with existing clients
- Write reports and sales literature
- Ensure that sales targets are met.
- Communicate with clients/customers to understand their demands and offer after sales support
- Recommend new products, designs and systems to the clients/customers
- Prepare client bids, quotations and budgets
- Assist in negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
- Secure orders, guarantee service standard and delivery
Technical;
- Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures (such as toilets, sinks, and water)
- Collaborate with other professionals during construction
- Perform routine inspection of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and dragonizing any problems
- Keep accurate record of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used
- Adhere to all plumbing codes of conduct and regulations
- Ensure all works meet safety standards and follow best practices
Qualifications;
- Diploma in areas of; Plumbing, Water and Sanitation or related fields
- Computer knowledge is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak both English (mandatory) and Luganda (optional)
- Good oral and written skills.
- Ability to network.
Resident of KYEBANDO or surrounding areas like; MULAGO, KANYANYA, MPERWERE, BAHAI, KALERWE, BUKOTO, KAMPALA QUALITY etc.
No experience required for this position.
