Job Title: Accounts Associate

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Accounts Associate supports the finance department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure accurate and compliant financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and accounting ledgers.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
• Assist with financial audits and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA Level 1 or ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
• 1–3 years experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
