BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING

Supply, delivery and installation of office furniture, fittings, equipment & accessories for IUCEA Phase II building - IUCEA/PROC/SUPP/2025-26/001

1. IUCEA has allocated funds from the East Africa Partner States to be used in the acquisition of office furniture, fittings, equipment & accessories for IUCEA Phase II building.

2. IUCEA invites sealed bids from eligible bidders in the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the IUCEA Procurement Policies and Procedures 2024.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 17:00hrs from Monday to Friday.

5. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 20 (United States Dollars Twenty only). For payment, interested bidders can remit funds to beneficiary name: Inter-University Council for East Africa, beneficiary account number: 220205000, beneficiary bank: Bank of Uganda Limited and Swift Code: BOUGUGKA. Bidders submit scanned bank slip or proof of EFT to official email: procure@iucea.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="color: rgb(59, 130, 246); transition: box-shadow 0.2s cubic-bezier(0.4, 0, 0.2, 1); border-radius: 6.858px; border-width: 2px 3px; border-style: solid; border-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); margin-left: -3px; margin-right: -3px; text-decoration: none; position: relative;">procure@iucea.org and a soft copy of the bidding document and receipt shall be sent immediately. For physical delivery, kindly deliver your bank slip or proof of EFT to IUCEA Reception and get your receipt together with the hard copy of the bidding document and other documents from Administration Unit.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Monday 25th August 2025 at 10:00 hrs (East Africa time). All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security and shall be put at the bidder's bid price and in USD currency. The bid security shall be a bank guarantee from Bank regulated by Central Bank of the bidder's country. Bid securities must be valid for the bid validity period of 120 (one hundred twenty) days after the date of bid submission and opening. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on Monday 25th August 2025 at 10:30 hrs (East Africa time).

7. There shall be a pre – bid meeting & site visit on Tuesday 5th August 2025 at 10:00hr at Phase II building site.

8. (a) Documents may be inspected at Administration Unit
   (b) Documents will be issued from Administration Unit upon presentation of receipt from Finance/Accounts
   (c) Bids must be delivered to Main Reception
   (d) Address of Bid Opening: Main Boardroom, First Floor on Monday 25th August 2025 at 10:30 hrs (East Africa time)
