Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage our bidding and tendering process while driving our merchandising efforts.This role is pivotal to our growth, requiring a unique blend of analytical prowess to navigate tender documents and a charismatic sales personality to build strong client relationships and present our product range effectively. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, self-driven, and impeccably
presentable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bidding and Tendering:
- Identify, track, and evaluate relevant tender opportunities from government entities, corporates, and NGOs.
- Manage the end-to-end tender process: from document acquisition and analysis to proposal writing, submission, and follow-up.
- Prepare compelling and compliant bid documents, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with the management and production teams to develop accurate costings and technical proposals.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all bids, tenders, and outcomes for future reference and analysis.
2. Merchandising and Sales:
- Act as a brand ambassador, presenting the company’s portfolio of branding solutions, corporate gifts, and printing services to potential clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decisionmakers in target organizations.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions that effectively meet their branding objectives.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue goals.
3. Operational and Administrative:
- Maintain an organized system for tracking leads, opportunities, and client interactions using a CRM or similar tool.
- Provide timely reports on bidding activities, sales pipelines, and market feedback to management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Procurement, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in a similar role involving bidding, tendering, and sales, preferably in the printing, branding, advertising, or FMCG sector.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully won tenders and achieved sales targets.

- Expertise in Tendering: Well-versed in the entire tender process, from search to submission.
- Charismatic Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade clients.
- Presentable: Professional appearance and demeanour, suitable for client-facing interactions.
- Self-Driven & Proactive: A go-getter with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Highly Organized: Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Quick Learner: Ability to rapidly understand our product range and the nuances of the branding industry.
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit, able to work effectively with internal teams to develop winning proposals
