Job Advert: Branch Manager – Microfinance Institution
On behalf of our client, microfinance institution we seek to recruit a highly competent, motivated and professional individual to fill the position of Branch Manager.
Job Summary
The Branch will oversee branch operations, drive business growth, ensure portfolio quality, and provide exceptional leadership to the branch team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all branch operations.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to increase the branch’s client base and loan portfolio.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Drive performance management, coaching, and motivation of staff.
- Monitor loan portfolio quality and implement timely risk-mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Prepare and submit periodic branch performance reports.
- Manage branch resources to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience at supeervisory level
- Experience working with a loan management software
- Background in microfinance would be added advantage
- Strong understanding of credit management, portfolio analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and lead a high-performance team.
