UJAN Medicals is a specialized healthcare management and clinical recruitment enterprise operating across Uganda. UJAN Medicals is urgently recruiting an experienced Male Enrolled Nurse to join the medical team at a high-volume healthcare facility located in Kibuye.
Job Summary & Role Scope
The Enrolled Nurse will provide comprehensive clinical nursing care within a busy ambulatory clinic setting. The candidate must possess strong practical clinical assessment skills, triage capability, and the ability to manage high patient turnarounds effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Triage & Care: Conduct initial patient triage, record vital signs, and render primary nursing care.
- Minor Procedures: Assist clinical officers and doctors with minor medical procedures, wound dressings, and emergency stabilization.
- Pharmacy & Inventory: Manage clinic medication stocks, properly store vaccines/biologicals, and maintain accurate dispensing logs.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure strict infection prevention and control (IPC) standards throughout the clinic.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC).
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a busy medical center or health clinic.
- Traits: Ability to work efficiently under pressure, excellent teamwork, and strong clinical precision.
