EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR SUPPLY OF GOODS & SERVICES

DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT:
The World Food Programme (WFP) Uganda is in the process of updating a roster of Goods & Services. Interested companies/ suppliers are invited to express their interest in supplying the Goods/Services mentioned below:
• Spare Parts (for vehicles/Trucks) 2. Batteries
• Lubricants
• Truck Tyres
• Bulk SMS Services
• HR Outsourced Services (Quantitative and qualitative surveys on food security, nutrition, resilience, self-reliance, livelihoods)
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Responding to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that the business firm/organization will be considered for receipt of the solicitation if-and-when-issued.
WFP encourages that vendors are inclusive of persons with disabilities. A disability-inclusive vendor is a vendor which makes a dedicated, consistent, and measurable effort to implement disability-inclusive practices. Vendors can show that they are disability-inclusive through a variety of means such as, for instance, having an organizational policy on disability inclusion, recruiting, and hiring people with disabilities, offering reasonable accommodation to candidates and personnel with disabilities, providing accessible premises, or ensuring that their supply chains are disability-inclusive.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION TO SUBMIT WITH THE EOI: The prospective vendors must have legal capacity to enter a contract; not appear on the UN Security Council Sanctions list; accept the UN Supplier Code of Conduct, complete the questionnaire on disability-inclusiveness, not be sanctioned for fraudulent, unethical, or illicit acts, as described on the WFP Framework on vendor sanctions; have proven financial capacity for 3 years and supply goods/services of interest to WFP. The interested vendors should obtain the Supplier Registration Form, on request by email. This form should be completed and returned electronically with following documents to the World Food Programme by 31st August 2023.
To be deemed eligible for the pre-qualification process, prospective vendors are required to submit all the below listed documents: 1. A letter of interest, introducing the prospective supplier (this should be on the company's headed paper, signed and stamped).
Abrief business profile-General information about the firm and its goods/services
A completed, Signed and Stamped Supplier Registration Form (This shall be provided by WFP-up on request by the interested prospective supplier).
Legal Requirements
Certificate of incorporation
Memorandum of Association, and Articles of Association. 6. Valid Trading License. 7. Income tax clearance 8. VAT registration certificate
A complete set of audited and certified books of accounts for the last two previous years (2021 & 2022).
Reference Letters
Letter of reference from at least two existing or previous clients. Request for the Supplier Registration Form and Submission shall be by email to kampala.vendormanagement@wfp.org
The deadline of submission is 5:30 pm local time on 31st August 2023
