About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client Cementers Uganda Limited, we are looking for a suitable, competent and skilled Human resource coordinator to work in Tilenga site.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
- Manage employee relations and conflict resolution in relation to HR at Head office.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Provide administrative support to the project team via approval from HR at Head office.
- Monitor daily attendance and prepare POB and SWLA reports
- Managed camp matrix portal for employee camp bookings
- Developed job descriptions and advertisements
- Shortlist candidates and arrange interviews
- Prepare employment contracts and ensured completion of necessary paperwork
- Conduct orientation programs and introduce new employees to the team
- Provide counselling and guidance and foster positive employee relations
- Promote company culture and values and develop internal communications
- Identify training needs and monitor employee performance
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Developed performance improvement plans and maintain employee records
- Update HR databases and identify potential risks
- Develop mitigation strategies and conduct audits and investigations
- Communicate HR policies and procedures and engage with stakeholders
- Manage project-specific HR initiatives and coordinate with project teams
- Ensure compliance with project-specific regulations and monitor project-related employee performance
- Represent HR manager in project meetings.
- Preparing and monitoring general Rotational leave schedule.
Requirements
Mandatory requirements
Education: University Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or any related field.
Knowledge, skills and Experience:
- At least 1-2 years working experience in HR management
- Highly organized and self motivated.
- Flexibility is much required
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
