LIGHT VEHICLE DRIVER

REQUIREMENT:

Drive organization vehicles to transport Managing Director, staff, visitors, or cargo safely within Kampala and across various regions of Uganda.

Perform pre-trip checks (e.g., checking engine oil, water, brakes, tires, and lights), ensuring the vehicle is always roadworthy and clean.

Accurately update and maintain vehicle movement logbooks, recording mileage, fuel consumption, and service schedules.

Strictly observe Uganda's traffic regulations, speed limits, and highway safety codes to avoid fines and accidents.

Immediately report any mechanical faults or required repairs to the Transport Officer or line manager.

A minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) is widely required, typically with a credit or pass in English.

A valid Ugandan Driving Permit with the relevant classes.

2 to 3 years of professional driving experience.
