The Uganda Biodiversity Trust Fund (UBTF) is registered in Uganda as an independent Institution incorporated under the Trustees’ Incorporation Act of 1939, Chapter 165. The UBTF headquarters are based in Kampala. The Fund was established as a mechanism to provide sustainable financing for the conservation of priority biodiversity and ecosystem services in Uganda. With support from Wildlife Conservation Society (WGS) through a USAlD/Uganda Biodiversity Trust Fund Supported Activity, UBTF is recruiting support staff to support operations of the Secretariat headed by an Executive Director.
Logistics Assistant/Driver (La/D)
Reports To: Administrative Assistant
JOB PURPOSE
The logistics assistant/driver performs the operations,maintainence and management of UBTF vehicle including routine maintenance,registration,tagging and tax exemptions, as well as coordinating transportation activities implemented by staff. She/he will also provide logistical support in delivery of welfare services to UBTF staff.
