- Monitor unit economics, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
- Report regularly to the Board on progress, challenges, and financial results.
Finance, Carbon & Operations
- Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across all revenue streams.
- Lead the operational setup of the carbon credits structure and the monetization of carbon credits.
- Reinvest carbon revenues strategically to drive scale and affordability.
Team Leadership & Organizational Culture
- Recruit, lead, and retain a high-performing, mission-aligned team across operations, sales, logistics, and finance.
- Build a performance culture centered on accountability, data-driven decision-making, and customer service.
- Develop internal systems, SOPs, and tools to support scale-up and replication.
Stakeholder and Partner Engagement
- Strengthen working relationships with ethanol suppliers, government agencies, carbon finance actors, and institutional customers.
- Represent EnerGrow in stakeholder meetings, sector forums, and policy discussions relevant to distribution and clean cooking.
Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in operations, logistics, or distribution, preferably in East Africa.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-site operations and delivering on P&L targets.
- Strong understanding of last-mile distribution systems in rural or low-income markets.
