Overview

Job Purpose

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, generate quality leads, and support sales growth. This role involves managing end-to-end marketing activities — from campaign planning and content creation to performance tracking — ensuring cohesive and results-driven marketing efforts that align with the organization’s goals.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and content creation skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Ads, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive projects from concept to execution
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.) are a plus
Responsible For
  • Develop and manage the overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals
  • Plan and execute campaigns across digital channels (social media, email, paid ads, SEO, etc.)
  • Create and oversee content for website, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials
  • Manage company social media presence and grow online engagement
  • Coordinate events, partnerships, or influencer collaborations as needed
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics (ROI, lead generation, engagement, etc.)
  • Work closely with sales and leadership to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals
  • Manage marketing budget and relationships with external vendors or freelancers

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or any related fields
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in Uganda
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, offline channels and consumers in Uganda (mass market consumers especially
