Background:

Welthungerhilfe (WHH), founded in 1962, is one of Germany’s largest non-governmental aid and development agencies. We have worked in Uganda since 1986, in partnership with the Government of Uganda, national and local NGOs, jointly improving the livelihoods of the most vulnerable population in rural areas through interventions that increase their Food and Nutrition Security, improve sustainable access to WASH services, innovative youth skilling and women’s empowerment programs in five regions of Uganda.

As a politically and confessionally independent organization, our value-oriented actions are always based on ethical principles, and all our work is led by six core values: Accountability, Courage, Respect, Transparency, Commitment and Curiosity.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of regional and country concepts, project proposals, and concept papers.
